Hiring: Agriculture Education on the Move™ Northwest Regional Lead

About:

Missouri Farmers Care Foundation’s Agriculture Education on the Move™ program is seeking a regional lead to assist in program development and implementation in the Kansas City area and northwest region.  Agriculture Education on the Move™ focuses on elementary agriculture science curriculum. Content includes crop, livestock, soil and water conservation, nutrition and careers in agriculture. The regional lead will deliver content in the classroom, as well as develop and manage relationships with schools, administrators, FFA partners, and fellow educators.  Orientation and background check will be provided. Location

This educator role is a contract position.  The selected individual will be working remotely with no designated office space.

Expectations:

·       The regional educator will teach the Agriculture Education on the Move™ 10-week course in area classes, focusing on opportunity regions that do not have FFA partnerships. 

·       Establish and maintain relationships with partnering FFA chapters and career centers for program expansion.

·       Assist in developing and implementing a regional marketing plan to expand activity in key Kansas City areas.

·       Represent Agriculture Education on the Move™ and Missouri Farmers Care at special events, including STEM fairs and related activities.

·       Provide social media content.
