Hiring for Summer 2026 Agriculture Education on the Move™ Internship Experiences
About: Missouri Farmers Care Foundation’s Agriculture Education on the Move™ program is seeking a Program Coordination Intern and Summer Educators to assist in expanding agriculture education across the state of Missouri.
Agriculture Education on the Move™ focuses on elementary agriculture science curriculum. Content includes crop, livestock, soil and water conservation, nutrition and careers in agriculture. Internship and educator focus will be on teaching Agriculture Education on the Move™ curriculum. Orientation and background check will be provided.
Required Skills
Passion for and basic knowledge of agriculture
Professionalism, responsibility, and time management skills
Self-directed and detail-oriented
Experience and comfort teaching youth, create a fun and enthusiastic learning environment for ages 8-12
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel
Location: These experiences are paid contract positions. The selected individual(s) will be working remotely with no designated office space. We strive to reach elementary students across the state via the placement of our educators.
Expectations
Ag Moves Program Coordination Intern will:
Teach Agriculture Education on the Move™ curriculum. Settings include, but are not limited to: summer school programs, Missouri FFA Camp, afterschool networks, STEM and related clubs and programs
Assist in training Summer Educators and planning/implementing Fall FFA Training Days
Help facilitate and recruit regional FFA Chapter involvement
Assist in developing and implementing a regional marketing plan to expand activity in target areas
Represent Agriculture Education on the Move™ and Missouri Farmers Care at professional events, including the Missouri State Fair
Assist with FFA Training Days
Create and implement social media content for summer
Travel to document educators and create photo reports from around state
Help in distributing news correspondence
Ag Moves Summer Educators will:
Spend the month of June teaching Agriculture Education on the Move™ curriculum. Settings include, but are not limited to: summer school programs, afterschool networks, STEM and related clubs and programs (depending on summer residence)
Provide social media content
Attend training and professional development events
Assist with FFA Training Days
